The Halifax Celtic Féis, due to some unforeseen circumstances, has been cancelled for the 2006 season. Please accept our apology for any inconvenience this cancellation may have caused.

On May 5, 2006 the Board of Directors of Hype.MC Marketing and Communications Inc – the owner/producer of the international Celtic festival - voted to cancel the Halifax Celtic Féis for the 2006 season with a commitment to revisit the opening of the festival in June, 2007.

The decision to cancel this year’s event was made after careful examination and our desire to provide the attending public with a first rate festival. We have been extremely encouraged and appreciative of the support the festival has received from our many corporate sponsors, partnering organizations, and artists and look forward to their continued support as we work through the change.
